Just before summer I made contact with three company’s 2am, Creation Publicity and Moo Creation. I was interested in them possibly being my industrial mentor, so jurying the summer I took my vehicle to the three companies and explained to them what I wanted. I gave them a couple of weeks to think about the opportunity and then I contacted them in the first week back on my course.

Moo Creation said I was very illustration based in my work and that meant I wouldn’t fit into their style of work. I was quite annoyed at this comment and felt let down. The work I showed them was my first year work were I did quite a lot of illustration. Now I am in my second year I am currently working on a rebrand, which is right up their street. I may consider sending them an email of my rebranding work and see what response I get.

Creation Publicity said they were very busy and didn’t have the time but they did say they would contact me if they had the time. They also said they would keep me in mind.

At this point I was feeling very low and thought to myself am I really that crap.

Then brake thought at last 2am said YES! They would be my industrial mentor. I was so pleased I just had to share the news with my tutor Dave.
